St Patrick's get together

We had the pleasure of documenting Karen & Perry's wedding at Bally's Hotel and Casino.

This wedding was more about long-term bonds than flighty romance, they had family & friends going back over a life time from all walks of life. The suite was full of a lot St. Patrick's Day paraphernalia in the wedding favors that made for capturing lots of good laughter.

Perry shouldn't forget his anniversary with small reminders such as the little green leprechaun himself, March madness and the whole world drinking green beer on the 17th.

Hartland Mansion

Staci and Arnel did it with style! The Hartland once the home of Elvis when he entertained in Las Vegas was equally as impressive as the bride & groom. The curved staircase was a fun backdrop. Thanks for a trip back in time.

A date with destiny

The almost numerically perfect 7/7/7 — is the most sought after date by couples around the country as the ideal day for a wedding. I recently read a static stating that on this day there will be more than 40,000 couples tying the knot. The figure is roughly triple the number for any other Saturday during the month of July — and nearly 25,000 more than the number of couples who got married on the corresponding weekend a year earlier.

The lucky number 7 has been significant since the time of the ancient Babylonians, who revered the seven sacred planets, and it is a crucial numeral in the Bible, as in the seven days of the Creation to the seven petitions of the Lord’s Prayer. Could this be the magic?
