I had the pleasure to work with this fabulous couple along with Tracey from Your Las Vegas Wedding Concierge http://www.lvweddingconcierge.com/over the last 12 months to put on a first-class affair at the Dragon Ridge Country Club http://www.dragonridge-country-club.com/ in Henderson.

Well, they finally tied the knot and made it official this past Saturday after nine years together. The ceremony was full of laughter, tears, Chinese lions and lots of love from both families.

The day was totally amazing to include some stellar sunlight coming over the ridge of the mountains prior to sunset. As the night rolled in, we had a surprise visit by none other than the “King” himself Elvis, who wowed the quest with his famous hits of the past.

I want to give Catherine & Joe my biggest congratulations! You both are the best and it was an honor to be part of your wedding day!

Back in the saddle

It's good to have my camera back in my hand after a short winter break. The wedding season is back, I live for this suff and enjoy meeting so many great people a long the way. Let the games begin!

Kathleen and Jamie met with me a year ago and were orginally going to get married in November 2005, due to job changes they postponed their special day until April. So it fitting that my last wedding of year start off the 2006 season. Here are a few engagement shoots with my new Canon 5D camera.

New Additions To The Family

Our 6-pound Pomeranian "Ukie" gave birth to four puppies three weeks ago. It was totally amazing to watch how her natural instincts went to work immediately. She has been a dedicated mommy taking care all their needs. We are very proud grandparents~lorenz & marylou

My first magazine cover

I am excited because one of my images was selected for the 2006 winter/spring Bridal Spectacular cover. The magazine was distributed to over 2,000 brides who attended the two-day bridal show and is currently available at wedding businesses throughout the Las Vegas and Henderson valley. Kudos go out to Debra and her staff for putting on a fabulous show.

Nice ceremony on a warm winter day! Something feels right about getting married on 020406. In the words to their Pastor "they did it right", Michelle and Darren met in church a few years ago and ever since they have been walking together in harmony with the Lord. By the way she was his bible study teacher. I wish you both much success in your marriage.

The Lawrence family

Laughter, kids running, falling and crying, toys all over, lights on in every room, the TV blasting in the background, reminiscing from the past, where the young interacts with the old. Call me a traditionalist, but I love the sights and sounds of the family. In an era were family members are all over the place for various circumstance it’s great when everyone takes time out of their business schedule to get back to core—“the family.” The Lawrence family gave me my dose of “the family” it a total pleasure to be part of their day.

Happy Thanksgiving

Let’s all celebrate this day by giving thanks for all that we have. I’m grateful for good health and that I live in a country that allows me to do what I want to do and say what I want to say. I give thanks for the life I have and my friends and more importantly my family. Let’s all be thankful for the opportunities we have! From our family to yours we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

Scavenge hunt

In the spirit of continued learning, continued gratitude, continued growth and continued forward motion I go out on a daily scavenge hunt to look at the obvious and make reason out of it. Today's search was for triangles. This exercises was designed to train my eye to go beyond looking to see elements within something else. How many triangles can you count?
