Help-Portrait Las Vegas
Help-Portrait is a movement of photographers who are using their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate this Holiday Season.
On Saturday, December 12, 2009, a team of photographers came together to dedicate the day to local homeless teens through the Center for Independent Living. With the assistance of make-up artists and hair stylists, the goal was to show the teens they are beautiful and not forgotten despite their circumstances and living situation.
Marylou and I first heard about the project on the morning of the 12th, we packed our equipment and drove to the center. We had a blast with the kids and meeting local artists.

Danielle & Shawn
In mid September I received the following email from the mother of the Danielle's best friend."I am hoping you are available on Oct 31st. My daughter's best friend is getting married in Las Vegas. The bride's name is Danielle. This poor child lost her mother two years. She deserves every blessing and I am hoping you will be available on her special day."
Without any reservation, we photographed the wedding of Danielle and her soul mate Shawn.
We personally want to thank Yvonne for her kindness, our prayers go out to her and her husband. Her generosity has taught us that greatness is not measured in what one has but rather in what one gives--we will pay it forward.
