It felt great to finally get out and shoot my first wedding of 2009! Jessica and Shawn thanks, all the elements through out your special day were great. You're a dynamic couple and I wish you both many years of happiness.

Sherri and Dominic

We did a mid-morning e-session since Sherri and Dom drove eight hours from Tucson and they plan on heading back later today. Your endurance is incredible, we look forward to your wedding in September.

Calico Basin

Susan and Daniel decided Calico Basin was the spot for their engagement session. Calico Basin is a colorful area tucked between the gray limestone La Madre Mountains to the north, the red sandstone Calico Hills to the west, and a desert ridge to the south. Three springs with permanent water emerge from the base of the red sandstone cliffs: Red Spring, Calico Spring, and Ash Spring. Water also runs in washes to the north and south of the springs during the winter months. It's hard to believe the Las Vegas desert is a few miles east.
