Chris pops the question

I was intrigued when Chris contacted me a few weeks back to document the moment he was going to ask Cassy to marry him. I'm going to give him props for his thoughtfulness to propose in style.

We did a mid-morning e-session since Sherri and Dom drove eight hours from Tucson and they plan on heading back later today. Your endurance is incredible, we look forward to your wedding in September.

Calico Basin

Susan and Daniel decided Calico Basin was the spot for their engagement session. Calico Basin is a colorful area tucked between the gray limestone La Madre Mountains to the north, the red sandstone Calico Hills to the west, and a desert ridge to the south. Three springs with permanent water emerge from the base of the red sandstone cliffs: Red Spring, Calico Spring, and Ash Spring. Water also runs in washes to the north and south of the springs during the winter months. It's hard to believe the Las Vegas desert is a few miles east.
Susan and Dan we're looking forward your back yard wedding next month.

Page + Bobby (e-session)

Note: The above image is treated by over laying different textures on top of the photograph, by manipulating colors, and also applying a photo technique called burning (subtracting light as it hits the image) to darken the edges the combination gives the image a warm fine art rustic look. Drop me a line and let me know what you think.

Todays photo session was at the JW Marriott. The inside gardens are full of mature vegetation, it's hard to believe you're in the desert.
